AT HOME WITH LWE: 29TH APRIL, 2020 - DRUMCODE TAKEOVER

For today’s At Home With blog we’ve got a very special takeover by our good friends at Drumcode. An uncompromising vision in 1996 that grew to the global monolith of today, Adam Beyer’s techno empire stands atop the long list of industry giants. If there’s one thing we’ve learnt from putting on some of the biggest Drumcode events anywhere in the world for nearly 10 years, it’s that their passion is unequivocal.

To celebrate their recent A-Sides Volume 9 release, we’ve invited the team to give us their pick of mixes, releases and more.

Drumcode - A-Sides Volume 9

We’re now onto our ninth edition of the A-Sides series, which focuses on showcasing singular productions from artists we couldn’t fit into our regular EP schedule throughout the year. The latest 13-track volume features the debuts of a number of artists including Eats Everything, Dubfire, Joyhauser and Anfisa Letyago, alongside lots of our label favourites. Perfect for blowing away the isolation cobwebs.

Adam Beyer B2B Cirez D (Eric Prydz) At Creamfields

It’s always special when Adam and Eric play B2B and this set from Creamfields last year was particularly memorable. While the gigs are on hold, it’s been enjoyable to go back through the archives and share some sets with fans we hadn’t previously had a chance to put on our weekly Drumcode radio show.

Adam Beyer - Cocoon, Amnesia Terrace
Part 1 & Part 2

This was Adam’s debut playing the Amnesia Terrace back in 2014 and epic in every possible sense.

Maceo Plex - Conjure Dreams (DC136)

Now nearly 6 years old, it truly was a monster of an EP and still goes down well when dropped at parties (or home raving sessions).

Adam Beyer - Mixmag Cover Interview

Adam doesn’t do many interviews and this DJ Mag cover feature goes right in there and is a very insightful read:

Adam Beyer - SBTV mini Documentary, 2017

A rare documentary piece with Adam from SBTV, which was filmed in 2017 with his all-day-long set at Printworks as the backdrop.
