Who would be your dream B2B and where would you do it?

Marco Carola, Time Warp Festival.

Marco has always been a source of inspiration for me, and I consider Time Warp a monastery of the underground scene.

Where is one country that you would love to play?

I have been lucky to have touched many countries on our globe. South America has always been special to me, especially Argentina.

I would like to perform for the first time in South Africa. The African rhythms and sounds inspire me every day, and they are part of my musical DNA.

When it comes to your sound, are you progressive or nostalgic?

When it comes to my music, I like to describe it as relentless rhythm.

In my works, I focus a lot on the movement and the groove that should make you want to move when you listen to it.

I like to let myself be carried away by the moment. Sometimes I produce and play more energetic vibes, sometimes darker and more obscure, but always with the main focus on the rhythm. It depends on the situation and the goal.

Best festival you've ever been to?

Elrow Festival in Barcelona for the unique, electrifying, and overwhelming vibe that this event generates. It was really exciting!

How do you get in the zone, any rituals?

I like to arrive at least an hour early at the club/festival to get familiar with it and get into the mood. Most of the time, I have a nice shot of vodka before starting the set.

Who is your biggest influence on your sound?

Since I was a kid, my parents always made me listen to a lot of quality music, and later on, I started to become passionate about the electronic/house genre. I bought some turntables around the age of 18 to learn and play at home or at private events with friends.

There wasn't a particular person who fascinated me but the scene itself. Since I was young, I have always attended and traveled between various clubs and festivals as a customer, listening to my favorite DJs and feeling the vibe of the dancefloor. This meant that the idea of being on the side of the console and making people dance developed within me.

Where is your favourite record store?

I love Serendipity in Milan. It is always well-stocked and updated, and I often go there to buy music. I have turntables at home, and I like listening to music on vinyl. As far as DJ sets are concerned, I collect most of the music digitally by playing on USB.

What do you look for when you're looking for samples?

I listen to a lot of different genres of music during the day, and it often happens that I focus on a riff or a loop. I save the songs that could inspire me in future works in the studio. I generally focus my attention on instruments and percussion riffs.

What is one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?

I embarked on my journey from a very young age with a lot of determination and passion. I don't have much to complain about; I would do everything I did again. It's important to believe in yourself and not trust people too much. Always believe in your music, and it's very important to study to improve your skills.

How do you relax after a big weekend?

Nothing better than a huge pizza and a movie on the sofa at home.
